First rule of boat buying:

Buy used, the depreciation is huge on boats..

I was spoiled growing up, as my dad had a Bertram, Crist-o-vich, then finally a Rybovich.

Carver, Bayliner, Silverton, Sea-Ray, Lurhs. all had reputations as being the economy cars of boats...

Bayliners were at the low end of desirability..

Having said that and sounded snobbish, the interiors of some of the boats you mentioned are nice..

Again look for a well maintained boat with a full suite of modern electronics.. Buying a new boat is just nuts..
