I just got the set with the supergrip pegs on the R12S a month or two ago. Not all positions work (and they warn you that it may be the case) but I've got them forward and down a bit now. adjusted the shifter position and it feels good for commuting and general riding. I will next try a back and up position and see how it goes). The pegs feel much more positive and are well made machined alloy. No vibe issues either which I wondered about going away from the rubber insert.
I'm reasonably happy especially if I can find a reasonable track position for those occasions. I don't use the back brake a lot anyway but not finding that to be a problem at the moment.
