Both thye 850 and 928 have a very 'what the heck is that' appeal...but in terms of performance/functionallity/driving experience, I adore the 928. The car is anorexic compared to the 850, and unfortunately has x2 of every part (ecus, fuel pumps, ect).

I had a similar BMW moment when deciding to get an e24 M6 after having an e28 535 that had served me very well. With all the talk behind to e24, I was definetly disappointed with the experience because of the weight.

Both cars are awesome autobahners, and the 850 in my opinion is a less seen and more modern as a counterpoint (and the v12 is unbelieveably smooth)...at the end of the day its your call
You can add Lexus SC400 to this list in my opinion. Great car. Here is the one I had.I'm Selling My 92 Sc400(owned Since 1995) - Lexus Owners Club (USA & Canada)
