geez, that guy has a PhD in Buzz-words and BS... I mean 'danger of spinning fan blades'? A bladed fan that size could be moving very slowly to match the wimpy flow of those "Aircraft wing, multiplying mixed-flow impeller ...fans"
"buffeting" comes from turbulent flow . . . like you will find when air starts moving fast. ...like from a fan that can move a lot of air.
Jeff's attached vid shows a series of Dyson fans all cranked up ... and how fast does the balloon move? meh.
