Get the paperwork in order. Get a title for it. Get a COA. Get it on the 356 Registry. Dig up the race history. Look for old photos, log books, etc.. That kind of stuff doesn't cost much money.
Have fun with it. These are special cars. Enjoy it while you can. It will get a full proper restoration eventually.
