The weather stripping around the sunroof does not glue down, it's one of those soft plastic/hard rubber coated metal things that presses in place, if it keeps coming up, just lightly squeeze it with pair of pliers to restore the grip. It is not glued to facilitate removal when repairing the sunroof or replacing the strip. A strong adhesive on this would most likely tear the headliner material when removing the stripping.

There is remnants of a thick white almost assembly grease like substance which obviously held my sunroof trim in place and I've removed and put back the trim and it still holds firm without actually "Gluing" the trim
