You translating that manual from American to Canadian? I didn't think that was possible!
Is that extension on the handle of the wrench or the socket side? If on the handle dont worry about it. If on the socket side... uh... dont worry about it
You only need to worry when the actual bolt head does not line up with the head of the wrench like the crows foot stuff. Now you have changed the length component in the torque computer and screwed yourself
