OK, so if we have a piece of stone left over as part of counter tops installed in our kitchen, it will be sealed no doubt. What can we do to it to prepare it so we can use it for a pizza/cooking stone? I'm asking because I have a huge piece of granite left over from having granite countertops installed in my house. Or do we simply use the bottom side for cooking after heating the sealed side up to hopefully eliminate the sealing substance?
