We have quite a few guys on this board that live in the NYC metro area. This is a big holiday weekend here in the US (Thanksgiving), so many NY members of this BBS might be traveling.

I suggest you pick up a NYC "Zagat's" guide when you arrive in NY. It has a very objective listing of resturaunts in the city; all with ratings by dining patrons. Hopefully, others can help you with bars, etc.

I work in midtown, but live 50 miles south of the city. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
