Our 5 1/2 year old $1500 Dell 32" LCD TV just died. It can't be repaired and a replacement costs about $400. My father gave us an older TV that he was throwing away and we're using it. We don't watch enough TV to justify spending the $ on it. Unfortunately, the cost to repair the TVs really doesn't make sense...
