One thing to remember is Miami Florida is not pronounced right if you go to Miami Oklahoma. In Oklahoma it is Mi-am-Ah. You might need that information someday.
Good afternoon guys. It is stupid hot outside. 102 or 104 depending on who you believe. It was only mid 90s when I mowed the yard this morning.
This week I took my 911 to a race shop to have it inspected for the DE I will be doing in about one month. He filled out and stamped a form with his business name that my car passed. He passed everything as OK but he wanted me to tighten up the front wheel bearings. Today I jacked up the front end of the 911 and did the "tighten up" on the wheel bearings. They are tighter then I personally like but it should keep the tech inspectors quite. I also finished up some little projects on the 911. I think I am ready for driving 1,100 miles each way with a drive at Roebling Road race track thrown in. He will drop by my house next week to make sure the wheel bearing are tight enough.

I drove my 911 this afternoon in the crazy heat just to check out the AC. The dashboard was 140 degrees while driving south. The AC was doing it's best. The vent temp was 40 to 45 degrees. The AC will be tested 100% in Savannah GA in August.
I will do a final check of the AC before we head east.
