No fair - you have a two legged traveling companion that does not have feathers (she probably cleans up after herself too).

She does, and she cleans up after me as well!

Why don't they fill the ferries? BC Ferry Corp could make way more money.

I made a reservation online and arrived barely five minutes after the 7:00am ferry left for the 8:00am boat.
The ferries fill regularly during peak season leaving folks with one or even two sailing waits on occasion.

That dinosaur is ginormous. At first it did not look all that impressive until I scrolled down the photo and saw how tiny the 911 is.
Too bad about the fuel pump. But it simply adds to the adventure.
Any other worthwhile photo ops as I prepare for my east coast swing?
Good on ya Dave. Nice to see you made it home. Will have to share contact info for when I make the jaunt east.

Not much in Saskatchewan and Manitoba for photo-ops to be honest but Ontario provides many "biggest blank in the world" attractions. If you go Highway 11 from Nipigon, it's pretty barren although someone has a dinosaur in their front yard plus the town of Moonbeam has a UFO at the town entrance. Taking Highway 7 through Wawa (World's Biggest Loon!) and down through Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay makes for a more scenic drive, albeit one that's ~100kms longer than the northern Highway 11 route. Both end up in North Bay, Ontario.
If you stop in Ottawa, drop me a line!
