I figured I would add some two cents. The Tomaso is ( really nice. )
I have worked on and driven a number of 850's and they are really cool machines.
Quite sophisticated for their time. They are space-ships, and they do float and feel
comfortable on long distance drives.

You just want to find a very well sorted one, the
V12 if not up-kept will sting. It's a V12 and when in mint operation and trim, it's an amazing
car. I do think of the 928 as a more nimble more GT esq machine. Comfortable too. Smooth performance, a different kind of kick from the BMW's V12. As for the SC400, cool but they only come in automatic, now for a daily driven car that's fine. However I'd honestly rather if I was going the Japanese route, then I would recommend the SC300, a hell of a lot cheaper and with that said the money could easily be invested in simply swapping over a 2JZ-GTE thus having a very quick machine. However, if you are looking at the 928, 850, you might be thinking Jaguar as well, or something British Aston? Depends on the budget too. Pay now or Pay in up keep.

928's do look very beautiful in Black, and White. I like Gold Wheels, but brushed Bronze is nice. Silver is a nice look on the 928. It's not the big things but the little things on these cars that just looks so right. The BMW is not a bad route but a very different machine.
