I agree about the sit dwn Jetskis getting boring fast. As an ex MX racer, when I bought my first JetSki (the Kaw ZXI above) from a guy at work who did not know how to fix it, I had fun for about the first 10 minutes on the local river and then it got boring real quick..... They are however fun on big spread out waves sometimes on the Great Lakes (jumping is always fun no matter what type of off road vehicle is involved  ).
All that said..... my wife and daughters are not as adventurous as me and seem to have fun on them the few times a year we take them to the local river for a couple of hours.
