Even if you could get a source for the IV bags, drip valve, and IV catheters, it's a REALLY bad idea to introduce something into your own bloodstream in that manner. The resultant hemodilution could be fatal for a variety of reasons, not to mention that air emboli and other truly nasty things could occur. A trained professional and the right IV solutions for the situation is what would be needed.
Drink fluids.
Learn what the solider do in the desert and follow those instructions.
I particularly like the sergeant being quoted saying "...if you don't have to take a leak, you aren't drinking enough..." Maybe not literally true, but it makes the point.
