Pedialite while targeted to kids is fine for adults as well. Formulated for dehydration due to vomiting/intestinal issues.
Liquid Gatoraid uses fructose, the powdered form has real sugar.

I quit using Gatorade and started making my own product:
Koolade mix packet
3/4 cups dextrose
1/4 cup sucrose
1 tsp "Lite Salt"
64 oz water
This will fill 3 bicycle water bottles. It is not as sweet as most gatorade type drinks, it has the calories and the electrolytes you need. On extended rides, I carry powder premixed and split per bottle.
Depending on the outside temp, I drink between 1 bottle every 10-20 miles. 90-100F = 1 bottle/10 miles. Below 70F is usually 1 bottle every 20. YMMV.
I also make my own gel type "Guu" products. You need calories once you get beyond about 2 hours of exercise.
