I have a Samsung Charge 4G on Verizon and I'm very happy with it, although it is my first smart phone so I have nothing to which to compare. If it is any indication, my 17 year old stepson liked it so much he just got one too. He's had Blackberry, HTC, and all sorts before this.
Build quality seems to be excellent and the calls are clear. The only thing I find slightly annoying is trying to type in my PIN for voicemail as the screen likes to turn blank before I push the numbers, but maybe that's just me.
I will tell you that the 4G is amazingly fast and I'm very glad I got that. When I'm not in a 4G area and have to use 3G it's so slow.
