I thought I would post to this thread, it seems to be the closest I could find to my issue. I need to know how I put this darn thing back in. My first attempt left the shifter immobile ( nothing was forced). Just wiggled it up in there nice and easy. The tranny was in neutral when I took it out. I need to know how to line up the fingers or rake as Dave calls it. Whats the secret? I would appreciate any help.
