So sad........was making a quick trip to the closest grocery store to buy swim diapers and was stopped at a red light with a car in front of me and another behind.
Light turned green and the car in front was turning left, but had to give the right-of-way to cross traffic before he could turn. The car pulled into the intersection to wait his turn to go so I pulled up slowly behind him. The car behind me hesitated to go when we moved, then when the car behind me finally went I could hear them accelerate until after the impact.
Their insurance will cover it all. The bad news is I'm missing my car for at least two weeks during a perfect Oregon summer, where you can drive topless almost 24/7 without A/C (which I do not have, not that it ever worked).
The good news is since the car is in the shop I finally have the motivation I need to get the ducktail I damaged repaired and the front hood repainted (bad prepwork on the previous respray before I owned it.
