My question is does it make a difference which pump I go with? I assume that the different model numbers would have variations in pressure, flow rate and possibly which model of car it was used in.

OK. This
FP will work on 911 CIS engines ('74-'83) including early Carreras (3.2). I've used this same pump for many CIS engines including my engine test stand.
