I hope so. I am not directly involved in any of this, but I hope everything is on the table. One of the buildings I go to on a regular basis is called the "Experimental Gas Cooled Reactor". They got it right up to the point of start-up and then canceled it. Here's a pic - I take pictures of everything with my cell phone:
