Helped a fellow Pelican this morning crack a transfer case to investigate a noise.

The biggest hurdle is getting what's left of the case bolts out. We cut the heads off to split the case but, tried penetrant, heat, everything we could think but we could not get the threaded portion to unscrew. I could move each one a tiny bit back and forth but they would not turn out.

Any ideas on how we might get these out. Drilling through the bolts is possible but would take a very long time(x5). We would also risk damaging the threads.
