oh puhlease Dr.I, that is claptrap. Sure, knives are dangerous, but if my son was playing around with one he'd pretty much have to stab a playmate quite a few times to kill him. Plus, he's have to try and do it (unless they are doing their circus knife throwing act, but that is another story). WIth a gun he could kill someone in another room.
Look, I'm as much for violence as the next guy. I just think guns make people much braver/stupider than they would normally be.
