Ya pay one way or another....

My landlord in BE was a real hoot. Very gracious man whose wife had passed on. He was getting near 70 but still was outgoing and full of energy! Vim et Vigeour!!!

There were two brothels nearby, I believe the story was he knew the owners. Anyway, he would pick up a young (appearing to be 18-22) girl on Friday night and a different one on Saturday night. They would go out to dinner or whatever. I was always very polite and never judgmental to The Gentleman. He was always the same to my wife and myself, he let us rent inside his chateau for much less than a going rate would have normally been.

I do not remember ever seeing the same girl twice, but who knows. Anyway, they always had a car come for them the next day and always the girls seemed polite and happy when I saw/talked with them. They always spoke French, the ones I ran into, and seemed to be of French/Belgian/Luxumbourg/German origins so I doubt these houses were much more than a way for the girls to make a living. I know the gentleman did NOT like seeing anything forced, even animals, into servitude.

So many of that type of business today is filled with trafficked women. Another form a slavery for someone's amusement. Not a savory industry.

I do hear the houses in Nevada are well run, but I've never been to Nevada and do not currently have any plans to visit the "gaming" houses of either type.

Color me boring????
