That's what I would do...and being female I would follow it up with "I can assue you pain not pleasure would be your experience"....
What is it with chain stores and air tools and rattle guns??? No-one removes anything by hand now. Can't tell you the damage we see through the workshop from previous repairers. Just shameful.
