The irony of all of this is that there really is no seperation of the parties. What the Democrats are on the outside, the Republicans are on the inside and vice-versa.
Im a little confused as to the British analogy. Are you comparing the Labour Party to the Democrats?
Kinda OT, but it's really sad to see how badly Thatcher screwed the UK in the early 80's. They are still dealing with the effects of it today.
