Though not all of their products are API certified, use of them will not necessarily void your warranty. Federal Law (Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act ) would require the auto manufacturer to either specifically state in the warranty that "use of non API oils will void your warranty" or would require the auto manufacturer to prove that the use of the non-API oil caused a failure that would not have otherwise occurred. Additionally, Amsoil warrants their products and will cover any damage caused by their product.
