Did anyone say there were NO early cars? There are. There are early cars that are restored and worth at least $13k (for a T) and up, and there are early cars that look good but in reality, need a restoration that you will have about $20-$25k into when you are done.

That first 69E you show a link to? WOW, the car has had a $5,000 rebuild? $5k???? On a 33 year old, MFI car? It's $1500 just to rebuild the mfi pump and throttle bodies. $2500 for labor. Do you see where I am going with this. The owner of that car probably wasted $5,000 on a half-arsed rebuild that will need to be re-done the right way and probably sooner rather than later. A real, pro rebuild would probably easily be $8,000 on the motor, and what about the trans?

I am fairly new to Pelican, but I notice this strange need for the SC guys to jump in on early car threads and chime in about the rarity and value of the early cars. Of course they seem to always feel the early cars aren't THAT rare and aren't worth THAT much. Gee, I wonder why?
