I met a guy at my church earlier this year. We shared some common interests, and had plans to hike, camp, rock climb, etc. in the near future. We've talked a few times since then. He introduced me to his fiance and his son (5-ish), and they were both really cool. His kid was usually climbing all over him like a jungle gym while we were talking.

Last week he died in a car crash and it's hit me pretty hard considering I barely knew the guy. He was probably mid 30's, and his wedding was only a couple weeks away. My heart breaks for the son that lost his dad and the woman that will never get to be his wife.

Just one more reminder to say "I love you" as often as you can. Sometimes it seems like we get more reminders than we need.
