I think we need to make a distinction between 'early cars' and 'good early cars'. That's where the arguments start. One person's idea of, for example, a "no-rust" early car is not the same as mine. Case in point: the first advert linked here is described as a "no rust" car!!
I'm sure that Krylon primer sprayed on the fenders and hood had nothing to do with any rust problems .....
