now now boys...cool your jets. You're reading way too much into my post. My buddy and I were talking about him looking (again) for an early 912 or 911, and next thing you now he's shooting me link after link via IM. I was reminded about how many cars there are around here.
That being said, I have often argued that despite the number of cars in SoCal, finding a *good* one is a challenge. But for those looking for one a bit rough around the edges (either to get on the cheap, to restore, or for R-gruppe activities), they are around. Mostly I was wondering my more people don't mod 912s. Seems like they tend to be cheaper, and if you're going to drop another motor in, the rest of the bits are the same.
btw, count me in the 2002 (and 3.0cs) fan club...especially round tail lights. I assume you guys have checked out:
