Yes..

On a loading dyno you can simulate real driving conditions, whether track, or street... With good logging you can track a/f EGTunder many different conditions..

With an inertial dyno, you can learn max hp and TQ, and a/f-EGT on pull.....

If you are just looking for HP and Torque bragging rights an inertial dyno is fine..
