Diecast Model Collection

So, I was thinking about collecting some Porsche diecast models and wanted to get some input on what kind of stuff I should buy, and how I should design my collection.

I really like 1/18 scale cars, but of course Porsche only makes 1/43 scale models--which means I must buy from another manfacturer.

It seems that autoart makes quality stuff, who else is really good quality but not over $150 a piece?

Also, what cars would you guys buy? I mean, do I start with the oldest and work my way into the newer models? Should I buy street cars first, and then go back and buy motorsport?

I think that I am going to buy cars that represent new model "releases" as they have occured ie:356 Nr.1, 1964 911, 1975 912--you get the picture?

Thoughts?
