But, to your point, I don't know about worldwide, but domestically in the US, our violent crime numbers are WAY down. But you never hear that. Most of our news is about all of the violent crime.
And I feel for these people. But unlike what occured in Arizona, no one fought back. Why?

When i grew up, those were unheard off in Europe.. These last years :

I'm sure they would have been reported if any such events took place prior to 2000 in Europe..
But i can't find anything, nor can i remember any.
And typically they are not by immigrants.
