Prescription glasses and safety glasses on-line?
Got my eyes checked a few weeks ago and need to update my glasses. The shape, etc. of my eyes means contacts won't work, so that's out.
Why the heck are prescription glasses so much at $500-600? I have insurance, but just hate to be ripped off and I always feel that way when done.
The frame isn't too bad, but the lens is a killer, when you add in lightweight lenses, progressive bi-focals, scratch resistant, non-glaring, etc.
Has anyone bought prescription or prescription safety glasses on-line? I've always been "measured" and a few other things when getting them. How does this work on-line? How do you figure out what frame looks best without trying them on?
