[Two Rivers]

The air flow meter will not show up most of the time as a code..It will show codes for lean here and there,bank here and there and so on.
I would start there after a good smoke test.
Also look at the electrical connectors under the hose connection just above the center top of the transmission on the back of the cylinder head. They leak antifreeze and it gets inside the connectors.
Also the pedal rheostat will cause this sort of stuff.

I think one of the most flustrating things about working on these cars is the poor BMW information given to the independant shops. The BMW shops around here will not even work on them.The MINI shop one and ahalf hours from here is no better. To bad they could realy be a great car.

I see the older ones with high dollor problems and the customers just dump them.
