To be honest it depends.
If we are talking road or race car and on what circuit. " laughs " air craft >_< too.
On a motorcycle not much over 145-155 I'm factoring speedo error. In a road car north of 180mph, but I personally felt there was speedo error. Race machines 190+ normally.
It's also about how fast you get there combined with the duration you operate the vehicle at and the given vehicle. Winds, Surface, Temp etc doing a 145-165 thru a bend and back up to 180 is way different.
911's are probably the more out of the box fast. Ferrari's too. Some of the Japanese machines " the era " were quick. And achieved maximum operation speed.
One of the coolest cars at 155mph is the 99' Mcoupe.
Air Craft is not bad. It's different being the pilot vs passengers prop vs jet is different. Mostly how G's are placed upon the body vs sheer speed and getting used to rappid elevation changes.
