vash................reality IS................the WORST RECOIL FROM ANY SPOON to a SCOPE/OPTIC...............is a quality pellet rifle! forward and backward recoil instead of just backward with centerfires.
just ask leupold.
now with that said ..............i blew up (the stadia) in (3) count'em leupold scopes with my mcmilian .338 win mag M-70 win with a 26" barrel and muzzle brake with custom hot loads(elk slammers).
and leupold warrantied each and everyone. and on the 3rd they offered me any scope i wanted with ANY stadia or turrets!
i went with a 4.5 x 14 x50 and it has held up for quite a number of elk hunts now.
