Scott was good in the movie but as far as being the best movie ever......your wrong. The battle scenes were terrible btw.
The AFI just voted Orson Wells ...Citizen Kane as the best movie ever. It has been acknowledged as the best movie ever since I can remember 30 years or so.
When u see a movie today..... it came from what Wells did.
It really isn't a flashy movie and it bombed when it opened. But it was so inovative that it has set the standard for today. The last scene in Raider of the Lost Ark is essentially a copy in the last scene in Kane.
