Up for sale is a pair of rare, 1987-1988 Porsche 944 Turbo Cup rear coilover springs. The Turbo Cup cars were specially modified 944 Turbo cars for their own racing series and were produced in very small numbers. Records show less than 300 of these models were made for the worldwide market in 1987/1988, meaning only 1% of 944 Turbos left the factory with these springs on them. (See:

These springs are the progressive type, as you can see how the tightness of the spring coil changes the further up the spring. The wire diameter also changes towards the tighter end. These are commonly believed to have a final effective spring rate of around 400 lb/in. These came on special Koni or Bilstein coilover shocks and are 2.25" inside diameter so they can adapt to newer shocks as well.
I would like to get $250 shipped for these springs. They would be a great addition to your racecar, or cool conversation pieces as they are a special piece of Porsche factory history.
