My brother works for a place called Exotic car transport out of Orlando. They do runs up and down the East Coast several times a week. I'm not sure what you consider affordable. Their carriers are fully enclosed and padded and he has delivered some sick cars including a Mclaren and Bugattis. The number is 800-766-8797 if you want to call and get a quote.
