How did you find out messing with the side mirror for temp power to dme controlled items. LOL. The dme has a separate hot lead from the ignition switch. Sounds like you have a short some where. The sun roof and turn signals are not thru the dme. Check the wire connections under the fuse box, if it is 85.5 or newer. That your time because if a connector is loose it is hard to see, you will need a bright light. And it only has to be out a little bit to cause problems.
