You won't get any disagreement from me, I bought my '99 with 74K miles on it an expected to have to repair some things since it was ten years old at the time. Besides the 64K service that had not been done, a new water pump, a secondary air pump vacuum leak that caused a CEL, new brakes and a wire that came undone on the alarm system that caused the car to shutdown I've installed the LN ceramic IMS, ROW M030 suspension, big red Brembo's, Pedro's motor mount and have had problem free driving for two years now. The Boxster is one of the most fun Porsches to drive with it's weight distribution ratio and although not the fastest Porsche around makes up for it in looks and handling. I had to wait a lot longer than you for my Porsche, I was 62 when I bought my Boxster and plan on being buried in it.
