Once you drive one… when I was l little boy I had an uncle that happened to love sports cars, I grew up helping him to do some basic maintenance on his cars, and that smell of leather and motor oil, well, got impregnated on my brain, learned to drive on my uncle’s Alfa Romeo, no sinc tranny, so! But it was soooo nice that I told myself that one day I’ll have a sport car!
Porsche! What a mystical cars, so last spring, after 30 years of hard work and raising a family and no to so good news on my health, I test drove a 1998 Boxster Sport pack (leather interior… bit of oil smell, one drop once in a while from rms) and couldn’t resist! It’s a 13 year old car, 85K, need some love and I’ve been doing some work on it myself! Handles GREAT and I’ve been working on it and driving it around on weekends and nice evenings! So fun to drive! And as Whipe350 said, Boxster owners are the best, this forum as well as other Boxster ones have been very helpful. Fun to work on it, really fun to drive and very nice looking car… what’s more to say!
