Oil Pressure sender
Thanks for the help. I failed to mention that the 2.2 engine is a transplant into what was originally a 72 911t. I looked at the oil thermostat and there is indeed a red topped sensor/sender parked next to it with a blue wire connected to it and it is obvious this a later change as it is totally separate from any harness.
So, I assume I'm OK for now as I've never had any problems the way it is currently set up.
I'm sorry I don't quite understand the info about the old? pressure sender. Is removing it and replacing it with a longer line to the chain tensioner optional or required?
