I have a couple thoughts on this.
we went into Pakistan without permission because we knew OBL was there and Pak was not cooperating with us.
What better way to test your wartime technology than to use it in a real life scenario. Yes, you can test at home but its never the same as real life.
We knew there was a chance that the enemy would have access to our downed equipment; it was a calculated risk.
I wish we could nuke the area but that will never happen.
As far as crashing our secret helicopter, "its wartime and ***** happens".
