Thought I would share a couple pics of my 1970 rs clone project.I just got it running this weekend !.And took it for a test ride down the treet .. no fenders/bumpersglass/doors/lights .. but one hell of a motor and trans , and operational brakes too .. what else do you need in NH at 25 degrees ..haha
Have to say WOW .. tons of power , and the engine spools to 7k in a half second .. nice revvy engine.And goosing the gas in 1st or second broke loose the tires easily but the limited slip kept the car in a straight line..note: road was snowy and icy so only low speed testing
So the specs on this car are ..
1970 911T non-sunfroof body with steel rs flares
911sc front and rear suspension + brakes
30 mm rear ,21 mm torsion bars
1990 3.6 motor with b+b headers instant G install kit
and engine chip
1986 915 trans with oil cooler and limited slip
Now its off to the paint shop for paint and final assy, be ready in a month or two .. keeping it original color blut orange color 018
