JRBoulder is correct. Get a used head $100-$250 depending on condition and machine work pre done.
Basic gaskets, extra machine work and parts-----$400-600
Parts not counted on=lifters, oil cooler seals, intake and injector rebuilding $200-$400 and up.
Mechanic cost per hour? Put his rate here X about 10 to 15 hours labor and up.
Major engine damage caused by bent valves ????
