Wiper Motor Jumping Procedure?
Just installed a used wiper motor into my 85.5 to replace a dead one.
Turn key over (not to start, just to activate electrical system) - and the wiper motor does not respond.
First, do I assume correctly that the wiper motor should come on with the key turned over? (Car is on Jacks, do not want to start engine).
Second - if I need to test the wiper motor by jumping it - how do I do this? Which of the six pins on the wiper motor plug do I want to contact to the battery?
30 day warranty on this motor is about half gone, and need to check it soon!
