I would highly recomend you have the PPI done. See Tony Callas at Callas-Rennsport 310-370-7038 I know him well. Their facility is probably the closest and they are factory level on all models through current and are well versed in 996/997 engine rebuilds so they will be able to spot anything that looks or sounds wrong with the refurbished motor that car has.
